About the Instructor
Tyler Bloom is owner of an independent consulting firm focused on search, career, and workforce development. He attended Penn State University to study Turfgrass Science then worked is way up to become the superintendent at Sparrows Point Country Club, a 27-hole private facility in Baltimore, Md. It was here he developed a reputation for staff development and training. During his tenure, Bloom instituted the first Youth Apprenticeship program for golf courses in the state of Maryland. In addition, he was recognized by the Governor for Employee Direct Support by the Department of Disabilities. He has acquired an Executive Certificate from Cornell University in Talent Acquisition and Recruitment, and is a Certified Partner with the Predictive Index, the world’s leading talent optimization company. Bloom is a sought-after speaker regionally and internationally and a frequent writer for industry publications including Golf Course Industry and Golf Course Management.
